You know the saying,
“Happy wife, happy life.”
So, I got my wife a Barista Coffee Machine.
But not just any machine.
This one wasn’t a simple pod machine where you press a button, and voilà, coffee appears.
No, this was for serious coffee lovers—those who know what they’re doing.
When she opened it, I could tell by all the buttons and levers that it wasn’t going to be easy.
And for the next five days, the drinks I tasted were… let’s just say, “experimental.”
I thought, “This machine is terrible; we should send it back.”
But my wife was determined.
“Honey,” she said, “I just need to dial it in.”
Every day, she kept at it, tweaking one thing at a time:
The amount of coffee beans…
The amount of milk…
The grind size…
She focused on perfecting each detail.
And then, finally, she nailed it!
Now, let’s just say Starbucks has some serious competition.
This is exactly how getting clients with predictability works.
You have to start somewhere.
Don’t worry about getting everything perfect right away—just start.
Choose a channel that feels right for you.
If you hate cold calling, don’t force it.
Find a method that fits your style.
As you go through the process, pay attention to what’s not working.
Is it finding leads? Qualifying them? Closing the deal?
Remember, client acquisition isn’t just one thing—it’s a system with multiple parts.
Focus on fixing the part that’s broken, and keep dialing it in.
