Part 1You are fired!

It all started back in 2011 when I, Alejandro, got fired from my job. My wife and I were expecting twins and had no income. Then someone asked me if I could create a website. I had no experience. I took a leap of faith and said yes. I charged $500, and that is how I started my web business. Hard work turned my passion for web design into a career that provided for my growing family.

Part 2The shoes gotta go

As a web consultant, I worked with everyone from small business owners to professional athletes. One of them, Brandon Marshall, changed my life. After I was invited to launch his foundation, I realized I needed to pay more attention to my wardrobe. I used to wear sneakers and Hollister shirts. I did my best with a collared shirt and trousers, but Brandon commented on my outfit that night. He said, “A-rod, you look good, but those shoes gotta go.” From that point forward I learned to dress as the person I wanted to become. That led me to start an online shoe brand, Caballero Wear, where I helped men become the best versions of themselves.

Part 3A bigger purpose

In 2016, I helped a friend quit Uber to start his own web business. Seeing the difference it made in his life, I wanted to help more people. So I invested in a mentor to teach me how. With his guidance I enrolled my first 7 beta students, from graphic designers to web designers to people with no prior experience. I wanted to prove I could deliver results before launching to the public. That is how WC Foundation was born.

Part 4My hidden superpower

Eager to test the limits of my potential, I invested in a footwear factory and launched my own online shoe brand. With my team, we scaled the store to half a million dollars in sales. I also kept running my web consulting business and my mentorship program at the same time. I learned a lot. I also realized that juggling too many endeavors was taking a toll on me, mentally and physically. Then I saw a doctor and was diagnosed with ADHD. That explained my struggle to focus and manage my time. It was a turning point. With great power comes great responsibility, and I had to do something radical to truly excel.

Part 5Focus

After learning about ADHD and mental health, I exited my other businesses to focus only on my mentorship program. It has been the most fulfilling company I have built. Having one thing to focus on is a massive deal, and I had never done it before. webconsulting.com is the right platform for me. It combines my passion for entrepreneurship and helping people with my own experience of business, art, design, and ADHD. I have made it my life’s mission to help others start and grow profitable web consulting businesses while embracing their hidden superpowers.
